Gretel Bueta (b. 3 July 1993, Australia)
One of the international athletes joining Johor Jewels for the 2026 season, Gretel Bueta brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team. She has represented Australia at the highest level, including the World Netball Championships 2019 in Liverpool and the World Youth Netball Championship 2014 in Glasgow.
Gretel has been recognized with Australian Netball’s highest individual honour, the Liz Ellis Diamond Award, and has also been named International Player of the Year. Additionally, she has been selected as Goal Attack in the Suncorp Super Netball Team of the Year, highlighting her outstanding performance and consistency on the court.
With her proven track record and international experience, Gretel is expected to make a significant impact for Johor Jewels .
