Yesterday exhibition match is about more than netball, it’s a celebration of incredible athletes.
Many of our players are currently observing Ramadan, which presents significant physical challenges while fasting, yet they continue to train, compete, and perform at an elite international level with remarkable discipline, resilience, and professionalism. Their commitment is something we are all deeply inspired by.
Haileybury College was honoured to host this match and to welcome the Johor Jewels as role models for their students and community.
Opportunities to witness international athletes and the standards they bring to the game are rare, and we are grateful to share this experience which such a school community.
Following the match, we celebrated the power of sport to connect, inspire, and bring communities together.
